Hilsa's main breeding season will be from October 13 to November 3, 2024. (28 Ashwin to 18 Kartik 1431 Bangla). Total 22 days collection, transportation, stocking, marketing, buying and selling and exchange of hilsa fish is prohibited throughout the country. Please send Monthly progress reports  to the District Fisheries Office by 25th of every English month.
